PURDY-GAMES MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP
About
Our History
Jay Purdy, a lifelong Ripley resident who passed away Feb. 17, 2017, created the Purdy-Games Memorial Scholarship through a bequest of more than $1 million.
The scholarship is named in honor of Jay Purdy; his uncle, Lloyd Games; and his mother, Helen Games-Purdy, who was an elementary teacher in Ripley.
Mr. Purdy sought to create life-changing opportunities for hard-working, ambitious students from the community he loved.
